A vast amount of people begin to create websites and then literally get fed up after a few months, because the site has not taken off as they initially planned. I have seen numerous people invest hundreds and thousands of dollars to create a well planned site; I mean the internet site looks fabulous.

They launch their site and then nothing happens they wait and wait and still nothing happens. So they commence recitation about what they can do to boost their site. Then they stumble across SEO, read a few bits and then decide to hire someone.

But this is where it goes wrong for these people as a lot of first timers do not really have a clue about who to hire so they go for the cheap option. People that are offering SEO services cheap are offering it for a reason, probably because they are new to the industry or do not have a clue what they are doing.

Personally I have experienced developers who do not have a clue what SEO Is, I then explain it to them and the following thing I acknowledge is that they have chucked it onto their web site and they are offering SEO services that they simply do not have a clue about.

People then actually go out and pay money for these services and end up hurting their site more then benefiting it. What what happens is that the webmaster gets fed up and closes his site, or takes one more punt at trying to find a better firm.

There are a huge amount of great SEO firms around but what the good ones now have to face is trying to convince these people what can be achieved from SEO and the overall benefits it will bring to the site and the whole business.
